이 논문은 한국사회에서 과학기술의 발전과 경제발전이 1980년부터 2000 년까지 대구․경북, 대전․충남, 광주․전남 지역의 계급구조 변화에 어떻게영향을 미쳤는가를 분석하고자 하였다. 분석결과 1980년대 경제 성장기에는세 지역 모두에서 소유계급의 감소와 비소유계급의 증가가 나타났다는 것을 알수 있었다. 경제가 어려웠던 1990년대는 세 지역에서 소유계급과 비소유계급의 증가가 있었는데, 그 중 노동자가 대전․충남과 광주․전남에서는 증가하였지만 대구․경북에서는 줄어든 것으로 나타났다. 계급구조 변화의 원인은 1980년대와 1990년대 모두 대전․충남과 광주․전남에서는 주로 지역 간 노동력 이 동 때문으로 추정되며, 대구․경북에서는 지역 내 산업간 노동력 이동 때문이었던 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 지역의 노동력이 지역 내 산업간 또는 계급간 이동으로 안정화 될 수 있도록 기업의 지역 배치가 필요하다 하겠다.
Abstract
The aim of this treatise is to analyse how the development of science technology and the growth of economy influenced on regional class structure in 1980s and 1990s in Korea and to show its implications in social development. It was shown that the quantity of owner class was decreased and that of non-own class was increased in Daejeon ․ Chungnam, Daegu ․ Gyeongbuk and, Gwangju ․ Jeonnam in the 1980s when the status of economy was good. And there was some increase of both the owner class and the non-owner class in three regions in the 1990s when the status of economy was difficult. But working class in Daegu ․ Gyeongbuk was decreased at that time. According to the result of this study, the cause of class structure change in both 1980s and 1990s in Daejeon ․ chungnam and Gwangju ․ Jeonnam was labor migrations between regions. But class structure change in both 1980s and 1990s in Daegu ․ Gyeongbuk was due to labor migrations between industries in the region. The differences of class composition among regions were decreased in class structure in 2000, but the differences with whole country were still existed. Therefore it is requested that we should arrange and rearrange some industries to fulfill the object of country with more balanced development.
