『규수시평』을 통해 본 강영과의 여성시에 대한 관점

『규수시평』은 명후기 공안파의 주요 인물 강영과(1553-1605)가 1604년 편찬한 시화로 명대시화 중에서 처음으로 여성시만을 전문적으로 평론한 책이다. 강영과는 공안파의 일원으로서 인간 본연의 마음인 ‘원신(元神)’ 즉 ‘진정(眞情)’이 표현된 문학이 거짓없는 참된 문학이라 보았다. 강영과의 이러한 문학관은 『규수시평』의 편찬이라는 결과로 나타나는데 이는 여성시가 모방의 풍조에 물들지 않고 진정을 표현한 ‘진(眞)’의 특성을 가지고 있다고 보았기 때문이다. 『규수시평』은 당나라부터 명나라까지 28명의 여성시인의 시 41수와 사 3수를 수록하고 있으며, 28명의 시인에 대해 29개의 시평(詩評)을 달고 있다. 책 체재는 작가명, 간단한 작가소개, 작품, 시평의 순서로 되어 있는데 각각의 부분에 다 그의 여성시에 대한 관점이 개입되고 있다. 『규수시평』에서 강영과는 여성시인이 가진 ‘품성(品性)’과 ‘학력(學力)’의 자질을 중시했다. 또 그는 여성시가 가진 ‘진’의 특성을 모방의 습관에 물들지 않고 ‘진정’을 진솔하게 표현한 것과 고악부와 오언고시 등이 가진 질박한 풍격의 시가를 쓴 ‘진고(眞古)’로 이해했다.
Abstract
『Guixiu ShiPing(閨秀詩評)』 is a note on poets and poetry compiled by Jiang Yingke (江盈科, 1553-1605), a leading figure of the Gong'an School(公安派) in the late Ming Dynasty, in 1604 and is the first book criticized specializing only in ‘Feminine Poetry’ compiled in Ming Dynasty. Jiang Yingke, as a member of the Gong'an School, thought that the literature express Yuan Shen(元神) to say true feelings without any false. This Jiang Yingke’s literary view has resulted in the compilation of 『Guixiu ShiPing』 because he believed that the feminine poetry had ‘True’ characteristic expressing true feelings not being influenced by the trend of imitation. 『Guixiu ShiPing』 contains 41 poems and 3 lyric poems of 28 female poets from the Tang to the Ming Dynasty and it also includes 29 poetry reviews on 28 poets. The composition of the book is in the order of the writer's name, brief introduction of writers, poetry reviews, and each part involves his perspective on the feminine poetry. In 『Guixiu ShiPing』, Jiang Yingke valued ‘moral character(品性)’ and ‘scholastic attainments(學力)’ that woman poets have. He also valued the characteristics of ‘true(眞)’ of the feminine poetry as ‘Really Ancient(眞古)’ and “true feelings(眞情)”.
