The film <A History of Violence> is a 2005 film directed by David Cronenberg. Through this research which follows character Tom and his family’s ordeal, depicts the character of violence and how it connects to the orgin of America’s past. Tom’s defensive violence itself became fundamentally the cause. As his identity is revealed, the study will also examine his family’s transformation step by step. Tom’s depensive act makes him an unlikely hero and his family struggles with his change. -their reaction to Tom and how Tom reacts to his family after ending vicious circle of violence. Through Tom, American history will be highlighted along with American family’s orgin, and how this film expressed implications and symbolism.
