전도서 관점에서 본 4차 산업혁명시대의 삶의 의미

본 연구의 목적은 점점 현실화되고 있는 고도 과학기술시대를 살아가는 사회 구성원의 정신건강의 향상에 있다. 그 연구 내용은 4차 산업혁명 시대를 전도서 관점에서 크게 세 가지로 구분하여 고찰하는 것이다. 첫째, 삶의 딜레마에 관한 것으로 모든 생활조건이 편해지는 고도 기술사회에 들어가서도 삶의 허무감이 생길 수밖에 없는데 전도서의 지혜를 통해 그 딜레마를 벗어나는 방법을 찾아보았다. 연구 결과 전도자는 삶을 소중히 간직해야할 하나님의 선물로 의미 있게 받아들여야 삶의 무의미성에서 빠져 나올 수 있다고 말한다. 둘째, 노동의 딜레마인데 노동은 인간의 본질적인 과제로서 과학기술을 통해 이것을 지나치게 줄이면 여가 중독이라는 치명적 질병에 걸리기 쉽다. 이에 대한 연구결과 4차 산업혁명시대에도 노동의 신성성을 통해 노동의 중요성을 인식해야 그 딜레마에서 벗어날 수 있음을 알게 되었다. 셋째, 죽음의 딜레마로서 과학기술로 죽음을 연장해도 그것은 무의미할 수 있다. 이에 전도서는 그 죽음도 하늘로 차원을 높여야 딜레마에서 벗어날 수 있다고 권고하고 있다. 연구방법은 신학적 공동체를 인식하며 현재 우리가 갖고 있는 최종 본문을 기준으로 하는 정경적 관점에 따라 4차 산업혁명시대와 전도서의 삶을 비교 고찰하는 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to improve the mental health of members of society living in an era of advanced science and technology that is becoming increasingly real. The content of the study is to examine the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution from the perspective of Ecclesiastes, dividing it into three major categories. First, regarding the dilemma of life, even in an advanced society where all living conditions are convenient, a sense of futility in life is inevitable, and we looked for a way to escape this dilemma through the wisdom of Ecclesiastes. As a result of the study, the Ecclesiastes states that we can escape the meaninglessness of life only by accepting life meaningfully as a gift from God that we must cherish. Second, regarding the dilemma of labor, labor is an essential task for humans, and if we reduce it excessively through science and technology, we can easily develop a fatal disease called leisure addiction. The results of the study on this matter show that we can escape this dilemma only by recognizing the importance of labor through the sacredness of labor even in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Third, regarding the dilemma of death, even if we extend death through science and technology, it can be meaningless. Accordingly, Ecclesiastes recommends that we can escape this dilemma only by elevating death to the level of heaven. The research method is to recognize the theological community and to compare and examine the life of the Fourth Industrial Revolution era and Ecclesiastes from a canonical perspective based on the final text that we currently have.
