육색사고모 기법을 활용한 이야기나누기 활동이 유아의 창의성 및 언어표현력에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 de Bono가 개발한 육색사고모 기법을 활용한 이야기나누기 활동이 유아의 창의성 및 언어표현력에 미치는 효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. B시 광역시에 위치한 D유치원에 재원중인 만 5세 유아 52명이 실험집단과 비교집단에 배정되었다. 실험집단에는 육색사고모 기법을 활용한 이야기나누기 활동을 실시하였고, 비교집단에는 유치원의 생활주제 및 만5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서를 참고하여 유아들의 흥미와 발달 특성에 적합한 이야기나누기 활동을 계획하고 실시하였다. 창의성 검사인 TTCT, 언어 표현력 검사를 사용하여 연구 자료를 수집하였으며, 수집한 자료에 대하여 공분산 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 실험집단의 창의성, 언어표현력 사후점수가 비교집단에 비해 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 육색사고모 기법은 유아의 창의성 및 언어표현력 증진에 효과적인 교수학습방법임을 시사한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of story sharing activities using six thinking hats on young children’s creativity and verbal expression abilities. The subject of this study were 52 young children who attended a kindergarten in Busan. The experimental group participated in the story sharing activities using six thinking hats while the comparison group did story sharing activities using topics in everyday life. The experiment took place between December 3rd, 2013 and January 29th, 2014, with activities carried out 16 times in total 2-3 times per week for a period of 7 weeks (excluding the school vacation period). Data were analyzed by ANCOVA. The findings of the study are as follows: First, the experimental group which experienced story sharing activities using six thinking hats showed a statistically significant increase in creativity compared to the comparison group which did not experience story sharing activities with six thinking hats technique. Secondly, the experimental group which experienced story sharing activities using six thinking hats showed a statistically significant increase in verbal expression abilities compared to the comparison group.
