예비유아교사의 성향적 조절초점, 셀프리더십, 진로결정몰입의 관계

본 연구는 예비 유아교사가 되고자 유아교육을 전공으로 하는 4년제 사립 대학 유아교육과에 재학 중인 대학생들을 대상으로 성향적 조절초점, 셀프리더십, 진로결정몰입간의 관계와 효과에 대해 알아보고자 실시되었다. 자기보고식 설문지로 측정된 자료의 분석은 spss20.0과 Amos20.0 통계프로그램을 이용하였다. 조절초점은 향상초점과 예방초점으로 나누어 상관분석과 경로분석이 이루어졌으며 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 변인들 간의 관계를 살펴보면 향상초점과 셀프리더십의 하위범주들은 모두 다 정적 상관을 나타내고 있으나 예방초점은 자연보상전략과 부적 상관을 나타내고 있다. 진로결정몰입의 하위범주는 진로결정의 탐색과 몰입에는 향상초점이, 진로선택의 갈등에는 예방초점이 관련 깊다는 것을 나타내었다. 둘째 연구모형의 경로와 효과를 살펴보면 향상초점과 예방초점에서 셀프리더십, 진로결정몰입으로 가는 연구모형의 경로는 예방초점의 경우 진로결정몰입으로 가는 경로가 유의하지 않게 나타나 이를 제거한 수정모형을 만들어 유의성을 검증하였다. 그 결과 향상초점은 셀프리더십, 진로결정몰입으로 가는 경로의 총효과가 .453으로 나타났으나 예방초점은 .029로 나타났다. 예방초점보다 향상초점이 셀프리더십, 진로결정몰입에 더욱 많은 직･간접 영향을 미침을 알 수 있다. 생의 초기발달과업을 수행하는 유아들에게 유아교사는 그 자체로 모델링의 대상이자 교과서라 해도 과언이 아니다. 그러므로 예비유아교사들은 긍정성향의 동기, 셀프리더십 등을 통한 그들의 진로역량함양에 더욱 더 몰입하여 교사로써의 자질과 품성을 갈고닦아야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship and effects among chronic regulatory focus, commitment to career choice and self–leadership in university students majored in early childhood education. The finding of this study are as follows. First, promotion focus was found to be positively correlated with commitment, exploration in commitment to career choice but negatively correlated with selection conflicts. Prevention focus was found to be negatively correlated with commitment, exploration but positively correlated with selection conflicts. Promotion focus is associated with exploration and commitment, and prevention focus is associated with conflict of selecting one’s career. Second, promotion focus effects to self-leadership and commitment to career choice by .453 but prevention focus effects to them by .029. It means that promotion focus is more effected with self-leadership and commitment to career choice than prevention focus in various ways. The research suggests that Pre-service early childhood teacher pay more attention to developing their promotion and self-leadership because early childhood teacher affects their students much in their cognition, emotion, and so on.
