단눈치오의 「알치오네Alcyone」에 나타난 초인사상과 자연의 섭리

19세기말 데카당스 문학의 대표 작가인 단눈치오의 시집 「알치오네Alcyone」의 작품 가운데 <디오니소스 찬가Ⅳ DitiramboⅣ>와 <초승달 Novilunio>을 중심으로 연구했다. 이 두 작품에 나타난 초인사상과 자연에 대한 감흥에서 비롯된 신의 섭리에 대해 살펴보았다. 이 두 작품의 중심 테마는, 첫 번째는 <디오니소스 찬가Ⅳ>에 나타난 그리스 신화 속 주인공 이카루스의 추락으로 인한 결정적인 상실감에서 오는 고뇌이며, 두 번째는 <초승달>에 서 여름이 지나고 9월이 되어 시인이 여름의 끝에서 느끼는 슬픔과 애수를 드러냈다. 이는 가장 뜨겁게 타오르는 여름의 태양으로부터 가을로 접어드는 대지의 계절적 변화와 기울어진 초승달의 희미한 빛으로의 변화를 의미하는 것이다. 「알치오네」작품들은 달이 차고 기울 듯이 모든 자연 만물은 올라갈 때와 내려올 때가 있다는 달의 월삭에 대한 비유를 바탕으로 한다. 달이 기울어지는 자연현상을 통해 죽음과 소멸이라는 데카덴티즈모적 요소가 드러났다. 이 시들은 단눈치오 특징인 에스테티즈모와 데카덴티즈모의 성격을 드러내고 있으며 대지의 계절의 변화를 자연과 인간에 대한 은유와 상징을 통해 노래했다. 이번 연구를 통해 그동안 연구되지 않은 단눈치오의 「알치오네」의 시 작품들에 나타난 자연의 섭리와 초인사상이 탄생하게 된 문학적 배경을 살펴보았다. 이러한 연구는 소설이나 극 작품 등 단눈치오의 다른 장르의 작품 연구와 초인사상을 연구하는 기초가 될 것이다.
Abstract
The study focused on “Ditirambo IV” and “Novilunio” of D'Annunzio, a representative writer of decadence literature of the late nineteenth century, in “Alcyone”. We looked at the divine providence that arises from the supernatural ideas and inspiration for nature expressed in these two works. The central theme of these two works is the first, the agony resulting from the decisive loss caused by the fall of Icarus, the main character of Greek mythology, in “Ditirambo IV” and the second, in “Novilunio”, the death of the poet in September after the summer revealed the sadness that felt at the end of this summer. The decadence element of death and disappearance was revealed through the natural phenomenon of the moon's tilt. These poems reveal D'Annunzio's characteristics of aestheticism and decadentism and sing of the seasonal changes of the earth through metamorphosis and symbols about nature and humans. Through this study we have explored the literary background that led to the creation of the providence of nature and the idea of supermanism in "Alcyone".
