뇌병변장애인의 의사소통경험을 통한 현상학적 연구: Giorgi의 현상학 분석을 중심으로
A Phenomenological Study on The Communication Experiences of People with Brain Injury: Focusing on Giorgi's Phenomenological Analysis

본 연구에서는 언어장애를 동반하고 있는 뇌병변장애인의 의사소통경험을 이해하고 그러한 경험에 기초해 뇌병변장애인의 의사소통 증진을 위한 방안을 모색하였다. 의도적 표집(purposive sampling)을 통해 총 10명의 뇌병변장애인 당사자를 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 실시하였으며 Giorgi의 현상학적 질적분석을 활용해 의사소통경험을 분석하였다. 분석결과 98개의 명확한 의미로부터 10개의 주제를 추출하였고 이를 기초로 3개의 중심 영역을 도출하였다. 중심 영역은 '뇌병변장애인 의사소통 권(rights)의 몰이해', '미흡한 보조기기 지원으로 인한 고충', '뇌병변장애인에게 부적합한 재활치료 및 언어치료 환경'이며, 각 중심 영역에 대한 정책적 제언을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The current study is to investigate policy approaches to improve the communication of people with brain injury by analyzing the communication experiences of people with brain injury having the communication disorders as well. Through the purposive sampling, a total of 10 participants with brain injury were participated and the data were analyzed on the basis of the Giorgi's phenomenological analysis. As a result, a total of 10 accurate themes were analyzed from 98 meanings and 3 primary domains were analyzed from the 10 themes. The 3 primary domains were 'misunderstanding of the communication rights of people with brain injury', 'difficulties from the unsufficient assistive devices', 'unsufficient environment of rehabilitative and linguistic services for people with brain injury' and related implications were proposed.
