본 연구의 목적은 장애인자립생활센터에서 실천되고 있는 동료상담 개념의 구성요소를 밝히는 것이다. 이를 위해 현장에서 활동하고 있는 동료상담가 27명이 선정되어 연구의 전 과정에 참여하였으며 연구에 사용된 분석방법은 개념도 연구법이다. 먼저 장애인 동료상담 개념에 대한 진술문을 생성하기 위해 연구참여자들을 면접하고, 축약편집 과정을 거쳐 최종진술문이 도출되었다. 최종진술문을 연구참여자들이 분류하고 중요성에 대해 평정하였다. 분류 및 평정자료에 대해 다차원척도분석, 위계적 범주분석을 실시하였다. 이때 개념도 프로그램인 ʻConcept System Software Core 4.0ʼ을 사용하였다. 이 과정에서 장애인 동료상담의 개념을 구성하는 83개의 진술문이 도출되었고, 구성요소는 구조와 과정이라는 2개의 차원과 12개의 범주로 분류되었다. 본 연구결과는 현장 실무자들의 경험을 바탕으로 연구되었기 때문에 자립생활 현장에 적용가능성이 높으며, 동료상담 개념의 기준을 제시했다는 점에서 의미가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate components of peer counseling concepts which is practiced in Centers for Independent Living(CIL). Concept Mapping methodology was conducted and 27 peer counselors participated in all the process. The participants were interviewed individually to gather statements on the concepts of peer counseling and the final list of statements was derived after the editing process. Each participant was asked to sort the final statements by similarity and rate the importance. Multidimensional Scaling Analysis and Hierarchical Cluster Analysis were conducted using Concept System Software Core(v.4.0). The results derived 83 statements which construct concepts of peer counseling in CILs. In addition, the components of peer counseling were consist of two levels, structure and process, categorized as 12 clusters: This study settled the standards of the peer counseling concept is highly applicable to the practical field of independent living since it was based on lived experiences of hands-on peer counselors.
