도시조직의 맥락적 특성을 연계한 건축공간 구축방법 연구 - 이화·충신동의 도시재생 사례를 중심으로

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to propose a methodology for constructing architectural space in connection with urban context. Beginning with analysing the history and characteristics about urban structure, it introduces the process of the formation of architectural space on the organic relationships between the whole and the part, the city and the architecture. The paper is overall based on a real project, ‘Ewha·Choongsin-dong’, which suggests a strategic settlement layout for urban regeneration. The followings are given an explanation and discussion; problematization and conceptualization in initial stage and the process and procedure leading to a schematic design together with the main issues for the recomposition of urban-architectural space where history, culture, and the context of life-world coexist. The expected result of the study intends to enhance the relationship between the formation of architectural space and the urban concerns, also ultimately to produce a sustainable system as ‘space generator’ to fulfill the social demand.
