21세기의 사회현상에는 성형수술, 수술과 약품에 의한 강제적 비만치료 현상, 인간 장기의 이식과 장기 복제가 있다. 심지어 인간 자체를 복제하는 행위가 진행 중에 있다. 인간 신체의 본질과 형태를 난도질하고 있다. 인류태초부터 오늘날까지 이른 신체문화를 일순간에 파괴할 위험을 안고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 신성하고 경건한 신체 그리고 금욕을 내세우는 기독교 聖書의 신체관과 건강관을 학문적 입장에서 밝혀보는 것은 의미있는 연구가 될 것이다. 특히 성서는 양적(신도의 數적 측면)·질적(사상적 측면)으로 인류에게 지대한 영향을 끼쳐왔다. 다음은 이 연구의 결과이다. 1) 身體觀 : 聖書에서는 하느님이 만든 모든 것은 선하다고 하였다. 특히 인간의 신체는 하느님이 손수 육체를 빚고 직접 생기를 불어넣어 만든 것이어서 대단히 존귀한 것이었다. 그리고 신체 다음으로 정신을 있게 하여 신체와 정신이 함께 존재하여야만 완전한 인간이란 의미에서 聖書는 身心一元論적인 사상을 기반으로 하고 있었다. 또한 복음사역에 대한 구절에서는 경기자처럼 하라고 하였는데, 이는 체육활동을 무시하지 않고 오히려 경기자를 긍정적으로 칭찬하는 태도를 보였다. 2) 健康觀 : 병이 들었을 때 기도로써 구원을 받는다는 것은 靈肉이 일치된 사고를 강조한 것이다. 그리고 신체를 병으로부터 잘 보호하고 생활 속에서 경건과 절제를 통해 건강한 삶을 유지하라고 명하고 있다. 특히 하느님이 주신 신체는 영혼(정신)과 함께 영원히 사는 것이므로 身心의 완전한 구원을 바라는 身心一元論的 健康觀을 가지고 있었다.
Abstract
There is a many complex problems such as plastic operation, coercive obesive treatment by operation and drug, and transplantation and reproduction of human viscera in the 21century. As far as, it is proceding for human itself to reproduct. It is destructive behavior against human body and shape. There is a possibility to destroy the physical culture proceding from human being to contemporary. It will be meaningful survey to menifest the views on the human body and its health. Bible is containing the holistic physical culture. Especially bible has a great effect on the human in the quantity aspects as well as quality aspects. And the fallowings is the results of this survey: 1. The views on the human body. Bible insists that everything God made is virture. Especially, human body is important object that God itself make and give animation. And the bible is based on the mind-body monistic views in the mean that mind accompany with body to reach perfect aspects. And it says that everyone acts as athletes, these means that God do not ignore the physical activies, and applause the athletes moreover. 2. The views on the health. It emphasize the consistency of mind and body when human being in the sick is relieved with the prayer. And it say to protect the body from the illness and maintain the healthy life with the holeness and temperance. Especially, the human body donated from the God accompany with the mind forever and this means the mind-body monistic health views that aspire a perfect relief of mind and body.
