진로장벽, 진로결정 자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -전문대학 비서학 전공생을 중심으로-

초록

최근 대학생들의 취업에 대한 열망이 높아지고 그와 더불어 취업 경쟁도 증가하는 추세에 이르고 있다. 이에 진로에 대한 마음가짐도 중요하지만 보다 원활한 진로를 위한 구체적인 준비가 필요하게 되었고 대학에서도 이를 위한 올바른 진로지로와 상담을 위한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 특히, 졸업과 동시에 현업에서 일할 기회가 많은 전문대학 비서학 전공생의 경우, 구체적인 진로준비행동을 수행하도록 지도하는 것이 필요하고 이를 위한 경험적 자료가 필요하나 이에 대한 연구가 미비하게 이루어지고 있다. 선행연구를 통하여 진로장벽이나 진로결정 자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 영향을 주는 요인임을 알 수 있으며 이들 변인과의 관계를 잘 파악하여 보다 원활한 진로준비행동이 이루어지도록 해야 할 것이다. 이에 이 연구의 목적은 전문대학 비서학 전공생을 대상으로 그들이 인식하는 진로장벽, 진로결정 자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향이 어떠한지를 살펴보아 올바른 진로지도와 상담을 위한 경험적 기초자료를 마련하고자 하는 것이다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 비서학 전공생들의 진로장벽은 진로준비행동에 부(-)적인 영향을 미치고 있으며 진로결정 자기효능감은 진로준비행동에 정적인 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 학생들이 진로장벽을 높게 느낄수록 진로준비를 위한 행동은 부진하게 이루어지고 있으며 진로결정 자기효능감이 높으면 학생들의 진로준비행동도 적극적이며 활발해 진다는 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 진로장벽과 진로결정 자기효능감은 서로 부(-)적인 상관관계에 있으며 비서학 전공생들의 경우, 미래불안의 장벽을 크게 인식하고 있으며 목표선택에 대한 진로결정 자기효능감은 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Abstract

In these days, universities and colleges are taking charge of not only helping students acquire academic achievements, but also guiding and counseling them with practical ways to seek jobs. However, previous studies related to career have focused on the cognition and attitude instead of emphasizing practical behavior of career preparation. Although career preparation behavior is important, there were only few studies and researches related to two-year college students majoring in Secretarial Science. Through previous studies, it has shown that career barriers and career decision-making self-efficacy were perceived as significant variables for career preparation behavior. Therefore, it is necessary to study career barriers and career decision-making self-efficacy to career preparation behavior of two-year college students majoring in Secretarial Science. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of career barriers, career decision-making self-efficacy on the career preparation behavior among college students majoring in Secretarial Science. The results of this study are as follows: First, the perceived career barriers of college students majoring in Secretarial Science had a partial effect on the career preparation behavior. According to the finding, the factor of 'the uncertainty of the future' among career barriers mainly affected the college students while the 'economical issues', 'ages, and physical difficulties' barely had any impact. Second, the career decision-making self-efficacy of college students majoring in Secretarial Science had a partial effect on the career preparation behavior. The factors of career decision-making self-efficacy affected all of the career preparation behavior except the factor of 'solving problems'. Third, there was a negative relationship between career barriers and career decision-making self-efficacy of college students majoring in Secretarial Science.
