성별과 가정 경제수준에 따른 대학생의 진로장벽과 사회적 지지가 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향: 진로자기효능감의 매개효과

초록

본 연구는 대학생의 진로장벽, 사회적 지지와 진로준비행동의 관계에서 진로자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증하고, 이러한 경로에 있어 성별 및 가정경제수준에 따른 집단 간 차이를 규명하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 전국의 전문대와 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 1,197명의 대학생이다. 연구에 사용한 변수들은 선행연구를 토대로 진로준비행동의 경로모형 검증과 다집단 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 대학생의 진로자기효능감의 매개효과가 성별과 가정 경제적 수준에 따라 집단 간 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 남학생 집단과 여학생 집단 간 진로자기효능감의 매개효과에서 진로장벽이 진로자기효능감에 미치는 영향은 여학생 집단이 남학생 집단 보다 큰 반면, 사회적 지지가 진로준비행동에 미치는 효과는 남학생 집단이 여학생 집단보다 큰 것으로 확인 되었다. 또한 가정 경제 수준이 어려운 집단과 좋은 집단 간 진로자기효능감의 매개효과는 어려운 집단이 좋은 집단 보다 진로자기효능감을 통하여 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 대학생의 진로준비행동을 향상시키기 위한 실천적 함의와 후속연구를 위한 과제를 제언하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to verify on the difference between the group according to Gender, Household Economic levels on effects of career barriers, social support, career self-efficacy on the career preparation behavior of college students. For the study it was used the survey data of 18 colleges and university students across the country. The variables used in the study were path model verification and multi - group analysis of career preparation behavior based on previous studies. As a result, mediating effect of career self - efficacy of college students was found to be different according to gender and household economic levels. In other words, the multi-group analysis was performed in order to verify whether the differences in career self-efficacy mediated the effects of gender and household economic levels. On the other hand, it was found that the effect of social support on career preparation behavior was greater for male students than for female students. The mediating effect of career self - efficacy was found to have a greater effect for groups with difficulty in household economic level than good groups in career preparation behavior through career self - efficacy. Based on the results of this study, a suggestion that practical implication and task for follow-up research has made to improve college student career preparation.
