본 연구는 일의 심리학 이론(Psychology of working theory)을 바탕으로 보육교사가 지각하는경제적 어려움이 괜찮은 일에 미치는 영향에서 일 자유의지의 다중병렬매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 서울, 경기, 인천 지역에 소재한 어린이집에 재직 중인 보육교사 273명이다. 수집된 자료의 분석을 위해 SPSS 28.0과 PROCESS macro ver. 4.1 프로그램을 이용하여 상관분석, 매개효과 검증 및 부트스트래핑을 실시하여 통계적 유의성을 검증하였다. 연구 결과 보육교사가지각한 경제적 어려움은 일 자유의지의 세 가지 하위요인(의지, 재정적 제약, 구조적 제약) 중 의지를 매개로 하여 괜찮은 일에 간접적인 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구 결과는 보육교사가 경제적 어려움을 느끼는 근무환경이 자기 일에 대한 최소한의 만족도를 저해하는 중요한 환경적 요인일 수 있음을 시사한다.
Abstract
Based on the psychology of working theory, this study aimed to verify the multiple parallel mediating effect of work volition in the effect of economic constraints perceived by childcare teachers on decent work. The subjects of this study were 273 childcare teachers working in daycare centers located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon. For the analysis of the collected data, SPSS 28.0 and PROCESS macro ver. 4.1 was used to verify correlation analysis, mediating effect verification, and bootstrapping. As a result of the study, first, the economic constraints perceived by childcare teachers had a negative effect on work volition. Only will among sub-factors of work volition had a positive effect on decent work. Second, the economic constraints perceived by daycare teachers indirectly affected decent work through the work volition. The results of this study suggest that the work environment in which child care teachers experience financial difficulties may be an important environmental factor that hinders the minimum satisfaction with their work.
