Abstract

This paper studies and presents measures to create conditions for expanding the Army’s practically viable support base based on the perception that the Army needs to receive strong trust and support from the inside and outside of the Army. Currently, the Army is making various efforts to expand its support base. But it’s a very fast-changing Considering the trend of security and social environment changes, the government proposed measures to maximize the results. To achieve the purpose of the study, the Ministry of National Defense and the Army summarized the current policies and conducted a survey of active-duty soldiers, reserve soldiers, military personnel, families, civilians, and students to increase the objectivity and reliability of the study. It also applied a method of consulting civilian experts, including the Department of Defense and the Army Headquarters. The study found that to expand the Army’s support base, the Army’s pursuit of change, all Army publicists, full-fledged military missions without compensation, senior initiatives and sincere attitudes, security with the people, and the Army, Navy, Air Force, and reserve forces.
