千古哀歌：高丽汉诗中的唐玄宗有关文化符号和意象研究

Abstract

The special love story of Tang Emperor Xuanzong and his most loved concubine Yang Yuhuan has been widely used as a motif not only in Chinese literature, but also in the East Asian literature, such as Korea and Japan. Goryeo writers in Korea also appropriately use materials and cultural imagery related to Tang Emperor Xuanzong in creating poetry. The cultural symbols and images that appear in Goryeo poetry include the Mawei Incident, the Yuyang Uprising, the Moon Palace, Melody of White Gown, and the actors in the royal troupe. These cultural symbols depict the perspectives and thoughts of Goryeo writers on the historical incidents such as the “An Shi Rebellion” and the love tragedy of Tang Emperor Xuanzong. Goryeo writers have the mixed feelings of sympathy or criticism, regret, sadness, affection for the love story full of biographical and romantic flavour, showing complex patterns. There may be many reasons for Goryeo writers' use of materials and cultural imagery related to Tang Emperor Xuanzong, but one of the most important things is that the love story has the nature of romantic, which can be explained by linking it with “Poongryu(風流)”, one of the categories of ancient Korean aesthetics.
