學圃 鄭暄(1588〜1647)은 萬古忠臣 圃隱 鄭夢周 先生의 8代孫으로 1609년 『德川院生錄』에 이름이 登載된 南冥 先生 私淑人이라고 할 수 있다. 學圃는 합천에서 태어나 조상들의 묘소가 있는 丹城으로 移居하여 살다가 晉州 서쪽 孤山에서 隱遁 선비로서 생을 마쳤다. 44세 때부터 임종 때까지 10여년간 머물렀던 孤山亭은 당시 南冥學派의 주요 인물들의 講學의 場으로서 역할을 했다. 无悶堂 朴絪, 謙齋 河弘度, 寒沙 姜大遂 등 당시 강우지역 학문을 주도하던 인물들이 孤山亭을 중심으로 學圃와 교유하면서 지역의 학풍을 진작시켰다. 學圃는 蓋然히 우주를 좁게 생각하고 九州를 협소하게 여기는 뜻이 있어 송나라의 宗殻처럼 長風을 타고 만리의 물결을 헤쳐 나가려는 기상이 있었다. 하지만 때를 만나지 못해 자신의 뜻을 펼칠 수 없었다. 學圃의 삶의 지향점은 포은을 배우는 데 있었다. 포은의 후예로서 포은의 대의명분과 어지러운 시대를 만난 선비가 가야할 마음인 ‘隱遁求志’ 의 길을 걸었다. 천거로 잠시 벼슬길에 나갔으나 사직하고 곧 자연으로 돌아와 은둔 선비의 길을 걸은 것이다. 이런 學圃의 삶은 어지러운 시대를 살아가는 선비들의 전형적인 삶의 모습과 크게 다르지 않다고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
Hakpo thinks narrowly universe and mainland China character to ride big wind like Sung dynasty Jongkak and plows wave of long distance because is significant here as is narrow have. However, could not spread own intent missing time. Born in Hapcheon and finished life in jinju west Gosan while move and lives by sincerity which ancestor's graveyard is. Roused academic traditions of area associating laying stress on persons and Gosanjeong who lead kangou area study at that time such as Mumindang Bakin, Gyeomjae Hahongdo, number of penniless scholar mightiness. Hakpo’s intention point of life was learning Poeun. As Poeun’s descendant, scholar who become acquainted age that is dizzy with justification of Poeun’s bamboo walked way of ‘Eundunguji’ that is mind I go. Went out to moment way into the government service by recommendation support but resign and return soon to nature and walk retirement from the world scholar's way. This Hakpo’s life can speak dizzy age that do not differ greatly with image of typical life of scholars that live.
