본 연구는 교사의 ‘AI 윤리 역량’ 향상을 목표로 하는 교사 교육 모형 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 설계개발연구방법론을 적용하였다. 먼저, 체계적 문헌고찰과 현직교사 인터뷰를 통해 초기 모형을 도출하였다. 다음으로 전문가 9인의 타당성 검토를 통해 수업 모형을 수정 및 보완하였다. 수업모형은 1) AI 윤리 속성 및 필요성 이해, 2) 교육에서 AI 윤리 이슈 분석, 3) 교육에서 AI 윤리 이슈 평가의 세 단계의 사례 중심 교육으로 도출되었다. 개발된 수업 모형을 활용하여 현직교사 27명을 대상으로 7시간의 워크숍을 설계, 개발, 실행하고 그 효과를 확인하였다. 연구 결과, 모형 기반의 교육을 받은 교사들은 AI 윤리 역량의 모든 영역에서 유의한 향상을 보였으며, 평균 4.81점의 높은 수업 만족도를 보였다. 초점집단면접(FGI)과 성찰일지 분석을 통해 윤리적 실천의 중요성을 인식하고, 지속적 실천 및 발전 의지가 고양되는 등 교사의 태도 변화도 관찰되었다. 본 연구는 교실에서 AI 활용이 급속히 확산되고 있는 과도기에, 교사 대상 인공지능 윤리 교육의 내용, 방법, 실천 사례를 체계적이고 종합적으로 제시함으로써 안전하고 책임 있는 AI 활용 교육이 확산할 수 있는 논의의 토대를 마련하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study aimed to develop a teacher education model focused on improving teachers’ AI ethics competency. Design and development research methodology was employed for this purpose. An initial model was derived through a systematic literature review and interviews with in-service teachers. The model was then revised and refined based on validity reviews by nine experts. The finalized instructional model features case-based learning organized into three stages: (1) understanding the attributes and necessity of AI ethics, (2) analyzing AI ethics issues in education, and (3) evaluating AI ethics issues in education. A workshop for 27 in-service teachers was designed, developed, and implemented using this model, with its effectiveness subsequently verified. Results indicated that participating teachers showed significant gains in AI ethics competency and reported high instructional satisfaction(M = 4.81). Analysis of focus group interviews (FGI) and reflection journals further revealed positive attitudinal changes, including greater willingness to engage in ethical practices. This study is significant for establishing a foundation to promote safe and responsible AI-integrated education. It provides systematic content, methods, and practical examples for teacher AI ethics education during the current rapid expansion of AI in classrooms.
