학제성에 기반한 ‘사고와 표현’의리좀적 학문 정체성과 통섭(通攝)적 발전 전망

‘사고와 표현’은 학제성을 기본 전제로 하므로 통섭적 학술활동 속에서 학문적정체성과 발전 전망을 가진다. 그 학문적 정체성은 여러 학문들 중 어떤 것에서도 자신의 연구 대상인 사고와 표현 및 양자 관계에 대한 연구와 교육을 창발할수 있는 리좀(rhizome) 체계를 속성으로 형성될 수 있고 또 그래야 한다. 그리고그 발전 과정은 학제 연구든 복합, 융합, 통합 연구든 언제나 상호 침투와 수렴을 중단하지 않는 ‘함께 도약하기’인 통섭(通攝)으로 나아가야 한다. 곧, ‘사고와표현’은 연구 대상에서 기존 학문 영역의 테두리를 넘어서고, 일부 분과학문에얽매인 방법론적 경계를 허물며, 일자(一者)적 이론 범주 및 분과학문 체계를 형성하려는 의도를 과감히 포기하는 것에서 출발해, 노마드(nomad)적 도약과 리좀적 체계 형성이 가능한 통섭적 발전으로 추동되어야 한다.
Abstract
The ‘Thinking and Expression’ can have an academic identity anddevelopment perspectives in consiliencial academic activities becauseits basic premise is the interdisciplinarity. Its academic identity shouldbe formed through a rhizome system in which researches and educationsof its research objectives, i.e. thinking, expression and their relation,can be created on every disciplines or sciences. And its developmentshould be proceeded through consilience as a ‘jumping together’ thatis a constant mutual convergence and interpenetration in either interdisciplinary,complex, coherent or coincidental research. Therefore the‘thinking and expression’ has to get over the border of traditionaldisciplines in the level of research objectives, to blur the lines oftraditional disciplines in the level of methodology and to abandon theintent to form an absolute theoretical frame and an independent disciplinebefore it can be developed consiliencially by leaping nomadically andforming a rhizomatous system.
