오늘날 페르시아 무슬림 선교에 있어 디아스포라 사역은 매우 의미심장한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 올해로 이슬람 혁명 40주년을 맞이한 이란은 변함없이 기독교에 대해서 적대적인 정책을 펼치고 있는데, 이러한 정부의 압력과 이슬람 자체에 대한 회의와 불신은 페르시아 무슬림들이 이슬람을 떠나게 만들었고 이주를 하도록 내몰았다. 그 결과 디아스포라 선교가 가속화되고 복음의 많은 열매를 얻게 되었다. 그러나 디아스포라 선교는 비단 최근에 일어난 것이 아니다. 페르시아 교회는 그 태생적 뿌리부터 디아스포라와 깊은 연관성을 갖는다. 디아스포라 선교는 페르시아 교회사에 면면히 흐르고 있는 중심 물결이다. 최근의 페르시아인 디아스포라 선교의 두드러진 특징은 디아스포라에 대한 선교와 디아스포라를 통한 선교가 동시적으로 진행된다는 것이다. 페르시아 무슬림 선교는 그 중심축이 외부자로부터 현지인으로 옮겨지고 있어 매우 고무적이다. 페르시아 디아스포라들에 의한 디아스포라 선교가 활발하게 이루어지고 있고, 이제는 자민족을 넘어서 주변 국가 아프가니스탄, 타지키스탄, 터키, 중앙아시아 무슬림들을 향한 선교적 노력이 일어나고 있다. 페르시아 디아스포라 교회의 강점은 열정적 예배, 적극적인 전도와 선교적 노력, 자립 지향성이다. 반면에 양질의 리더십 개발 부족, 성숙의 필요성, 신앙과 삶의 불일치, 성적 타락, 불신 문화, 자기중심성과 분열의 상존성이라는 약점도 가지고 있다. 페르시아 디아스포라 교회는 교회의 본질 추구, 존재론적인 변화, 문화의 변혁을 통하여 복음의 열린 문의 기회를 유지할 수 있을 것이다, 하나님의 선교는 광야와 사막 같은 이슬람 선교에 새로운 길을 내고, 생수의 강물이 흐르게 하셨다. 오늘날 디아스포라에 대한 새로운 조명과 부각은 디아스포라가 하나님의 선교의 중요한 도구라는 사실에 대한 재확인이다. 디아스포라의 소수성, 약자성, 주변성은 약함을 통해 일하시는 하나님의 선교의 중심 부분이며, 이슬람권 선교의 새로운 동력이라고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
Diaspora has a very significant position in the Persian Muslim missions. Iran, which celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution this year, continues its hostile policy toward Christianity. This government pressure and skepticism and distrust of Islam itself prompted Persian Muslims to leave Islam and move their steps toward migration. As a result, the Persian diaspora mission accelerated and produced many fruits of the gospel. However, the diaspora mission was not something that happened recently. The Persian church has a deep connection with diaspora from its starting point. The Diaspora Mission is an intermediate wave that continues to flow through the history of the Persian church.A striking feature of today’s Persian diaspora missions is that the missions to and through the diaspora are carried out simultaneously. It is also very encouraging that the center of the Persian Muslim missions is being moved from outside missionaries to locals. Due to active diaspora missions by Persian diaspora, missional efforts are now taking place cross-culturally to other ethnic groups such as Afghan, Tajik, Turk, and Central Asian Muslims. The strengths of the Persian diaspora church are its fervent worship, active evangelism and missionary efforts, and self-reliant characteristics. However, it also has weaknesses such as lack of quality leadership development, need for maturity, mismatch of faith and life, sexual degradation, the culture of mutual distrust, self-centeredness and existential risk of division and separation. Future tasks of the Persian diaspora church are not to neglect the opportunity of the open door of the gospel through the pursuit of the essence of the church, ontological changes, and redemption of culture. The Mission of God created a new path of overflowing living water in the wild and deserted land of Islam. The new prominence and significance of diaspora missions today is a reaffirmation of the fact that diaspora missions is an essential tool in the Mission of God. Diaspora’s marginality, weakness, and periphery are central parts of God's Mission to work through weakness and can be said to be a new force in the Islamic mission field.
