Q 방법론의 지리학적 적용에 대한 실증 연구:안산 대부도 생태관광지를 중심으로

초록

공간에 대한 사람의 주관성을 어떻게 표현할 수 있을까? 본 연구는 Q 방법론의 지리학적 적용가능성을 확인하기 위해 진행되었다. 이에 기존 지역주민과 환경단체의 생태보전 의견과 공무원과 이주민의 관광개발 사이 갈등이 극심한 안산 대부도를 중심으로 Q 방법론 적용을 통해 협력적 공간계획 해법을 찾고자 하였다. Q 표본으로대부도의 문헌분석과 현장방문 및 인터뷰를 통해 이슈장소 25곳을 설정하였고, P 표본으로 지역 이해당사자(주민, 환경단체, 공무원, 연구원, 환경지킴이)를 설정하여 Q 분류를 실시하였다. 분석결과, 요인1(기존개발지역 순응)과 요인2(생태관광 가능지역 개발)사이 요인3(도로 따라 개발)안이 나타났다. 인식차이 적으며 개발을 원하는지역을 확인하기 위해 3개 요인의 표준편차와 평균을 비교한 결과, 역시 도로따라 개발하려는 안이 협력을 위해바람직하다는 결과가 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 지역의 개발과 보전사이 공간상의 이해관계를 보여주었으며, 협력적 공간계획을 제시해주었다는 의의를 지닌다.

Abstract

How can we express human subjectivity about space? This study was conducted to confirm the geographical applicability of the Q methodology. The purpose of this study is to find out the solution of cooperative space planning through application of Q methodology, focusing on the conflict between conservation opinions of local residents and environmental groups and the tourism development perspectives of public officials and migrants in Daebu Island, Ansan. Based on the literature review, field trip and interviews in Daebu Island, 25 issue sites were set up as Q samples and Q sorting were conducted for local stakeholders (residents, environmental NGO, public official, local researchers, environmental protectors) as P samples. As a result, between factor 1 (adaptation of existing development area) and factor 2 (development of eco-tourism area), factor 3 (development along the road) appeared. As a result of comparing the mean and the standard deviation of the three factors in order to identify areas where the spots people have little awareness are and want to develop, it was also found that the plan to develop along the road was desirable for cooperation. These results show a spatial interest between the development and conservation of the area and have a significance in suggesting a collaborative space plan over the conflicts.
