창원시의 경관평가와 인상도에 관한 연구

본 연구는 통합도시이자 산업도시인 창원시의 경관을 구성하는 각 경관유형에 대한 印象을 정량적으로 평가하여 각 경관별 특징을 분석하고, 저평가된 부분에 대한 개선 방안을 제언하고자 하였다. 도시경관은 공공재로서지역사회의 이익을 위해 보전되어야 하는데, 이러한 경관에 대한 인상은 도시경관의 보전 및 개선 방안을 도출하는데 영향을 미친다. 연구 대상은 산업도시로 출발한 곳이자 진해와 마산을 통합한 통합도시인 창원으로, 창원시정연구원의 협조를 받아 창원의 대표적인 경관자원 60곳을 엄선해 7개 유형으로 분류한 후, 5개 항목을 선정해 인상평가를진행하였다. 인상평가 결과, 축제문화예술경관과 수변녹지경관이 고 평가를 받았고, 산업경관과 건축경관은 저 평가를 받았다. 이는 문화예술도시를 천명하고 나선 창원시의 경관자원 활용 전략이 어느 정도 성과를 거둔 것을 보여주는 것이자, 과거부터 산업도시의 이미지를 굳혀 왔던 창원시가 도시의 정체성을 상실하는 과정에 있음을 의미한다. 따라서 창원시의 도시계획 수립에 있어서 도시 정체성을 재확립함과 동시에, 창원 지역의 경관 자원에 대한 인상도개선을 위한 노력이 필요하다.
Abstract
This study quantitatively evaluates the scenery of Changwon City and each landscape as an integrated city and analyzes the characteristics of each landscape to suggest ways to improve the undervaluation part. The research subjects were selected from 60 representative scenery resources of Changwon which is an integrated city integrating Jinhae and Masan, which started as an industrial city, and classified into 7 types. After the type, the evaluation proceeded. As a result, festival culture, arts and waterfront green landscapes were highly valued, and industrial landscapes and architectural landscapes were underestimated. This is a demonstration of the cultural and arts city and the achievement of the landscape resource utilization strategy of Changwon city, Considering the characteristics of Changwon City and its prospects as an industrial city, it is necessary to re-create industrial landscapes and architectural landscapes, It is necessary to make efforts to improve the landscape improvement of Changwon area in future by reflecting it in the master plan of Changwon city.
