스토리텔링으로서 ‘통영정신’의 가치와 문화콘텐츠 개발 방안

Abstract

This paper is focused on the development of as many cultural contents as possible for building a cultural map of Gyeongnam. The study is consideredas a work to complete a cultural fusion archive in Gyeongnam and, in the future, to fulfill a role as a manual to help Gyeongnam when the province tries to study and develop a cultural archetype interface both efficiently and systematically. As the very first attempt to achieve the research goal, the study did not only provide truly practical media contents of the greatest adaptability, but it also examined humanities, arts and lifestyles of Tongyeong for acting as a bridge to a storytelling cultural archive. In addition, with the cultural ‘dynamicien’ in Tongyeong, the city is considered to be capable of working as a gateway of the cultural fusion archive. Tongyeong, as a city of marine culture, is now recognized as a city of marine culture and humanity as well a place where the practice－based craftsmanship and human－centered leadership of Admiral YI Sun－shin have for long been co－existing. Besides assessing the present conditions of the cultural contents in Gyeongnam where policy is being successfully conducted and examining the storytelling cultural archetype, the study stresses the value of Tongyeong as a city of marine culture and humanities.
