이 연구는 초등 저학년 아동의 양육자를 대상으로 하는 가족 문식성 프로그램 구성 방향을 탐색하였다. 프로그램 구성 방향을 4가지 요인을 고려하여 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 첫째, 프로그램 대상자는 양육자와 아동의 상호작용을 높이기 위해 가족이 함께 참여하는 것을 원칙으로 하되, 다양한 가족 문화와 양육자의 범위를 넓히는 방향을 고려한다. 둘째, 프로그램의 구성은 문식성 교육에 대한 전문성이 없는 양육자도 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 진단 도구, 교재, 지도 방법이 모두 포함된 일체형 프로그램으로 구성한다. 셋째, 프로그램의 내용은 학교 교육과정, 다른 교과와의 연계성을 높인다. 이때 양육자와 아동의 정서적 관계를 고려한다. 넷째, 운영 방식은 접근성이 높은 프로그램이 되어야 한다는 기본 원칙하에 다양한 운영 방식을 고려한다.
Abstract
This study investigated directions for designing family literacy programs for caregivers of lower elementary school children. Based on an analysis of key factors, four program development directions are proposed. First, programs should be organized for joint participation of caregivers and children to enhance family interaction, considering diverse family cultures and broadening caregivers’ definition. Second, programs should use an all-in-one package—including diagnostic tools, instructional materials, and teaching methods—so caregivers without literacy education expertise can use them. Third, program content should strengthen connections to the school curriculum and integrate with other subjects, considering caregivers’ emotional relationships with children. Fourth, program implementation should ensure accessibility with flexible approaches for various family circumstances.
