This treatise is an analysis of posters depicting the revolution and manufactured by the temporary national government after Germany’s revolution. The content of the revolution poster was the result of a conservative mindset, and expressed an aspiration for stability and the preservation of order.It was true that such posters stressed stability and order, and cautioned for starvation and poverty, Furthermore, the posters expressed a slight fear of Bolshevism. However, it should be noted that the original view of painters from around the world was conveyed directly in the message of the revolution poster. This was inseparably related solidarity to the masses. Especially, the poster’s meaning was of interest to a populace that was directly suffering from difficulties brought about by war.
Abstract
