음악과 ‘생활화’ 영역에 대한 경기도 초등학교 교사의 실행 형태 분석

본 연구의 목적은 음악과 ‘생활화’ 영역에 대한 초등학교 교사들이 실행 형태를 ‘관심에 기초한 교육과정 실행모형’(Concern Based Adoption Model)에 기초하여 분석하고, 교사들의 실행형태를 알아보는 데 있다. 본 연구는 음악과 ‘생활화’ 영역에 대한 교사의 실행 형태를 연구하기 위해 면담 조사를 실시하였다. 면담 조사 대상은 경기도교육청에 소속된 공립 초등학교에서 음악교과를 지도하고 있는 3~6학년 교사 30명이었다. 실행 형태의 면담 조사 결과는 질적으로 분석하였다. 음악과 ‘생활화’ 영역에 대한 면담 조사를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 면담에 응한 대부분의 교사들은 음악과 ‘생활화’ 영역의 ‘필요성’에 대해 필요하다고 응답하였고, 학생들에게 모든 교사가 의무적으로 가르쳐야 한다고 생각하였다. 둘째, 음악과 ‘생활화’ 영역에 대한 실행 형태를 살펴보면 대부분의 교사들은 ‘생활화’ 영역에 대해 연간교육과정과 수업지도계획을 재구성하여 운영하고 있었다. 또한, ‘생활화’ 수업은 학교 내외에서 이루어지는 음악 관련 행사 참여와 연관되어 운영되는 경우가 많았다. 셋째, 음악과 ‘생활화’ 영역평가를 할 때 평가지는 성취 기준에 맞게, 그리고 학생들의 수준에 맞게 교사가 직접 만들어사용하였고, 평가 방법으로는 상호평가, 자기평가, 포트폴리오, 관찰 평가 등 다양한 방법을사용하였다. 넷째, 교사들은 음악과 ‘생활화' 영역 수업 실행을 위해, 찾아오는 음악회 등의음악회 지원, 학생들이 학교 내외 음악 활동에 쉽게 참여할 수 있도록 돕는 행정적인 지원, 음악과 교육과정 연수 및 수업 관련 연수 기회, 수업 자료 지원, 악기 및 악기 지도 강사 지원 등을 받기 원하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze innovation configurations about 'practical application' in music subject among elementary school teachers based on the concern based curriculum adoption model, and examine innovation configurations and how the teachers perceive them, and how they are applied. To analyze perception on 'practical application' in music subject and how they apply it, this study did interview. Subject to the interview were 30 teachers teaching music to students from third to sixth grades in public elementary schools under the Gyeonggi Office of Education. Interviews on innovation configurations about 'practical application' in music subject were qualitatively analyzed. The findings of analysis of interviews were as follows. First, most of respondents answered that 'practical application' in music subject is 'necessary', and that teachers should teach it to students. Second, in innovation configurations on practical application in music subject, it was found that most teachers reorganize and operate annual curriculum and teaching guidelines on ‘practical application' in music subject. And, in many cases, ‘practical application' classes were operated linked with music-related events held in and outside of schools. Third, in grading students on 'practical application' in music subject, teachers tended to make the grading standards for themselves to evaluate achievement of students. They used various evaluation methods such as mutual evaluation, self-evaluation, portfolio, and observational evaluation, etc. Forth, to run the class on 'practical application' in music subject, teachers wanted to get various supports such as support for concert like 'visiting concert', and administrative support which helps students to participate in musical activities in and outside of schools, for music curriculum training and class-related training, for class materials, and for instruments and instrument-teaching lecturers.
