고교학점제에서 선택과목 만족도, 학교만족도, 학업소진에 대한 진로성숙도(고 1)와 학업성취의 역할이 학교의지원 수준에 따라 달라지는지 살펴보았다. 서울시교육연구정보원에서 제공하는 서울종단연구의 1차년도(고등학교1학년)와 2차년도(고등학교 2학년) 자료를 활용하여 잠재조절구조모형 분석을 실시하였다. 전년도 결과변인을 통제하고도 학교만족도에 대한 진로성숙도와 과목 다양성, 진로성숙도와 상담지원의 상호작용 효과가 나타났다. 이러한 상호작용은 상승효과로 나타났는데, 이는 학생의 진로성숙도와 학교지원 요소인 과목다양성과 상담지원이 높아질수록 학교만족도향상에 미치는 이들의 긍정적 효과가 더욱 증폭된다는 것이다. 고교학점제가 본격 실시되고 있는 현시점에서 정책중 학생의 미래상으로 강조하는 ‘스스로 진로를 설계하는 자기주도적 학습자’를 양성하기 위해서는, 학생의 준비도로서진로성숙도를 높여줄 필요가 있고 학교의 지원 요소로서 진로 준비에 도움이 되는 다양한 과목을 개설하고, 학생들의과목 선택, 과목 신청 및 이수에 도움이 되는 상담을 지원해 줄 필요가 있다.
Abstract
This study examined whether the roles of career maturity (in first-year high school students) and academic achievement in relation to elective course satisfaction, school satisfaction, and academic burnout vary depending on the level of school support within the context of the High School Credit System. A latent moderated structural equation modeling (LMS) analysis was conducted using the first-year (Grade 10) and second-year (Grade 11) data from the Seoul Education Longitudinal Study provided by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Research and Information Center. Even after controlling for prior outcomes, interaction effects of career maturity with subject diversity and counseling support on school satisfaction were found. These interactions showed a synergistic effect, meaning that higher career maturity combined with greater school support amplifies students' school satisfaction. As the High School Credit System is being fully implemented, fostering “self-directed learners who independently plan their career paths” — a future-oriented student model emphasized in the policy — requires enhancing students’ career maturity as a key aspect of their readiness. In addition, schools need to provide institutional support by offering a wide range of courses that aid in career preparation and by facilitating academic counseling to assist students in course selection, enrollment, and completion.
