1인 전자상거래업의 규모는 빅데이터 시대에 들어 크게 증가하고 있다. 또한 활용할 수 있는 데이터와 그 데이터를 다룰 수 있는 툴의 종류도 다양해지고 있다. 그러나 1인 사업자의 경우 이러한 데이터를 활용하지 못하여 중요한 성장 기회를 놓칠 수 있다. 이에 해결 방안으로 생성형 AI를 활용한 대시보드 운영에 대해 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 1인 사업자가 생성형 AI 서비스의 무료버전을 활용하여 데이터를 대시보드의 형태로 만들 수 있는지 확인하였다. Power BI 툴과 생성형 AI를 가지고 동일한 데이터 세트를 이용하여 만든 대시보드의 효율성과 효과성을 비교하였으며, AI 사용에 의한 개인 정보와 핵심 기술의 노출 등의 보안에 대해서 검토하였다. 분석 결과 생성형 AI의 경우 충분히 효과적인 대시보드를 제공하는 것에 한계가 있다. 간단한 계산과 시각화는 잘 수행하여 효과가 있는 것처럼 보이지만, 그 과정이 비효율적이며 복잡한 명령을 내리는 경우 수행 못하는 경우도 있다. 1인 사업자가 생성형 AI를 활용하여 기업 운영의 효율성을 높이기 위해서는 더 높은 수준의 AI를 사용해야 할 것이며, 동시에 개인 정보보호에 관한 각별한 주의가 필요하다.
Abstract
In the era of big data, one-person e-commerce businesses have shown significant growth. Consequently, the availability of data and the variety of tools to process such data have also increased. However, for one-person businesses, the inability to utilize these tools effectively may hinder a business from capturing important opportunities and improving its operational efficiency. This research examines whether a one-person business could use free generative AI to create data dashboards. Dashboards were produced with both the Power BI tool and generative AI using the same dataset. The study then compares the results in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, security concerns such as the exposure of personal information and core technologies through AI usage are reviewed. The results suggest that free generative AI services may not provide sufficiently effective and efficient dashboards. While they are capable in handling simple calculations and visualizations—giving the impression of usefulness—the processes themselves are often inefficient, and may fail to execute complex commands. Therefore, for a one-person business to improve operational efficiency using generative AI, higher-level AI solutions may be required alongside implementation of personal data protection.
