그녀는 참정권 운동에 참여 하던 중인 1911년에 합창곡집 《동틀 녘의 노래》(Song of Sunrise)를 발표했고, 이 가운데 〈여성의 행진〉(The March of the Women)은 여성 운동을 위한 송가로 작곡된 작품이다.
