연구 목적: 본 연구는 일상생활만족도에 미치는 시각장애인의 주관적 건강수준과 시각장애인의 심리적 기제인 장애수용과 우울의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 시각장애인의 주관적인 건강수준과 생활만족도와의 관계를 규명함으로써 구체적인 실천적 개입 전략과, 정책적 제도방안 수립의 토대 자료로 활용하는데 있다. 연구 방법: 본 연구는 한국장애인고용공단 고용개발원에서 조사한 제4차 장애인고용패널조사를 이용하여 시각장애인 460명을 분석하였다. 연구 결과: 첫째, 시각장애인의 주관적 건강수준, 우울, 장애수용, 일상생활만족도 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 일상생활만족도는 주관적 건강수준과 장애수용과는 정적인 상관관계를 보인 반면, 우울과는 부적인 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 주관적 건강수준이 일상생활 만족도에 미치는 영향과 장애수용 및 우울의 매개효과에서는 주관적 건강수준은 일상생활만족도에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치며, 이들 간의 관계에서 장애수용과 우울은 부분매개효과가 있음이 확인되었다. 제언: 시각장애인의 일상생활만족을 위해서는 심리적 재활치료에 대한 개입, 직업재활 프로그램이 병행, 역량강화 프로그램 등을 활성화하여 장애 수용정도를 높이는 것이 필요하다.
Abstract
Purpose: This study analyzes the impact the subjective health status of people with Visual Impairments has on the daily life satisfaction and the mediating effect of their psychological mechanisms such as depression and acceptance of disability. The purpose of this study is to serve as the basis for the establishment of practical intervention strategies and policy measures by identifying the relationship between the subjective health status and life satisfaction. Method: This study analyzes the raw data of to 460 visual-impaired persons, using the fourth Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled conducted by Employment Development Institute of Korea Employment Promotion Agency for the Disabled. Results: First, as a result of analyzing the relationships between subjective health status, disability acceptance, depression, and daily life satisfaction, the daily life satisfaction had a positive correlation with the subjective health status and the acceptance of disability while having a negative correlation with depression. Second, regarding the impact the subjective health status has on the daily life satisfaction and the mediating effect of the acceptance of disability and depression, the subjective health status had a statistically significant impact on the daily life satisfaction; there was a partial mediating effect of the acceptance of disability and depression in the relationship. The practical and political proposals on the basis of these results were as presented. Conclusion: In order to satisfy the daily life of the visually impaired, it is necessary to increase the degree of disability acceptance by activating interventions in psychological rehabilitation treatment, vocational rehabilitation programs in parallel, and competency strengthening programs.
