유아의 대인관계성향과 놀이유형이 교육기관 적응에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 유아의 대인관계성향, 놀이유형, 교육기관 적응 간의 관계를 밝히고, 교육기관 적응에 미치는 변인들의 상대적 영향력을 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 교육기관의 지속적인 적응 정도를 살펴보기 위해 최소 10개월에서 3년 이상 재원하고 있는 만 5세 유아 231명으로 선정하였다. 본 연구의 주요 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대인관계성향, 놀이유형, 교육기관 적응 간에 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교육기관 적응 전체에 상대적으로 영향을 미치는 변인은 사교-우호 그리고 독립-책임이었으며, 놀이유형에서는 모방놀이와 현도놀이인 것으로 나타났다. 이는 또래와의 관계에서 사교적이고 우호적이며, 독립적이고 책임감이 강한 성향을 지니면서 모방놀이와 현도놀이를 하는 유아가 교육기관 적응에 영향력이 있음을 의미한다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 유아들의 대인관계성향과 놀이유형이 교육기관 적응에 긍정적인 역할을 할 수 있음을 논의하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to examine the relationship between the interpersonal relations disposition and the play patterns on young childhood adjustment in education institutions, and to identify the relative influence between the variables. The subjects were 231 young children aged five or more who have continuously been enrolled for a length ranging between 10 months-3 years in their institutions. The results are as follows. First, there is a correlation between the interpersonal relations disposition, play patterns, and children's adjustment in childhood education institutions. Second, the variables that influence the children's adjustment in childhood education institutions were social, friendly, independent and responsible relations disposition, and imitative and pedantic play patterns. This indicates that children who are sociable, friendly, independent and responsible in their relations disposition and who are imitative and pedantic play in play patterns show positive traits for adjustment in education institutions. Based on the results, the study asserted that the interpersonal relations disposition and play patterns may play a positive role in children’s adjustment in education institutions.
