Three Pieces of Notes on Bamboo Strips of Chu State Related with the Analects of Confucius

In the second chapter of Zilu(子路）from the Analects, the word for Zai(宰）in the sentence that Zhonggong was a Zai of Ji`s family(仲弓爲季氏宰)means the assistant of household(家相)，and it is believed to be between the 8<sup>th</sup> year of Lu Dinggong(魯定公） and the summer of the 12<sup>th</sup> year of Lu Dinggong(魯定公). Secondly，the word for shame(恥）in the third chapter of Weizheng(爲政) from the Analects may be read as stop(止). Thirdly, in the ninth chapter of Taibo(泰伯) from the Analects, the word for knowing(知)is better read as break(折)，which means defeat(挫敗）or conviction(折服).
