초록
≪Kongzijian Ji Huanzi≫, which is one of the dispersed Confucian texts, consists of 27 bamboo slips. This text contains the debate between Confucius and Ji Huanzi in which considers several ways of reviving the country—e.g., ‘the Dao of noble man’, ‘ErDao’: ‘the Dao of the Virtue person act’, ‘malevolent people’ and so forth. ≪Family sayings of Confucius≫, which records that Confucius had met Ji Huanzi twice, does not write down the full particulars of the meeting. However, the discovery of ≪Kongzijian Ji Huanzi≫ leads us to know some details of their debate. After 『The Shanghai Museum bamboo slips (6)』(2017) is published, many attentions have been paid to the slip orders of ≪Kongzijian Ji Huanzi≫. For example, see Li Rui(2007.7.11, 2007.8.6., 2008.3.27.), Futian Zhezhi(2007), Liang Jing(2008), Chen Jian(2008), Lin Shengfeng(2008), Su Jianzhou(2008), Liu Xinfang(2011.2), Gu Shikao(2015.1) and so forth. This paper reviews these works, and then shows that the contents related to ‘Er Dao’ can be re-organized into two paragraphs. ≪Kongzijian Ji Huanzi≫, the slip arrangement from PU MAO ZUO’s said that ‘Er Dao’ is so called ‘DaoEr(道二)’ which is that “there are only two ways: one is benevolence and the other is malevolence.” from ≪Mencius⋅Li Lou part1≫. Someone said that ‘ErDao’ indicate that ‘the Dao of the Wise person acts’ from the forth slip and ‘the Dao of the Virtue person acts’ from the seventh slip. However, in the seventh slip, the character ‘tao(逃)’ of ‘ErTao(二逃)’is interchangeable with ‘Dao(道)’ so that ‘Er Tao’ is about ‘ErDao’ moreover, the contents is related to the second slip and this ‘ErDao’ indicate that ‘the acts of benevolence’, ‘the acts of malevolence’. The seventh slip is about the attire that noble man should fit out. On the other hand, the slip following this slip is about ‘malevolent people’, which is totally opposite to it. In this way, ‘ErDao’ indicates benevolence and malevolence. Taken altogether, at the first paragraph, Ji Huanzi asked what ‘ErDao’ is, then Confucius explained with examples. At the second paragraph, he explained ‘malevolence’ with detailed examples.
