본 연구는 진로장벽과 구직효능감 및 취업스트레스의 관계를 밝힘으로써 진로상담과 진로지도를 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 진로장벽이 구직효능감과 취업스트레스에 미치는 영향과 함께 진로장벽과 취업스트레스에 대한 구직효능감의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 취업을 앞두고 있는 대학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 진로장벽요인은 구직효능감에 중요한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 둘째, 진로장벽요인은 취업스트레스에 중요한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 구직효능감은 취업스트레스에 중요한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 넷째, 구직효능감은 진로장벽요인과 취업스트레스에 대한 매개효과를 가지고 있었다. 또한 진로장벽 세부요인에 따른 매개효과는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통하여 진로장벽요인이 구직효능감에 중요한 영향을 미치며, 또한 진로장벽요인이 취업스트레스에 미치는 영향은 직접적인 것이 아니라 구직효능감을 매개로 간접적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 연구의 시사점으로 진로장벽요인과 취업스트레스에 구직효능감이 매개변수 역할을 확인한 것은 취업스트레스 연구에 중요한 의의가 있고, 대학생들의 취업스트레스 감소를 위해서는 실질적으로 진로장벽을 낮출 수 있는 취업교육과 구직효능감 향상교육이 정규 커리큘럼에 포함되어 체계화되어야 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 후속연구를 통해 구직자의 구직효능감에 영향을 미치는 추가변수들을 고려하고, 이들이 취업스트레스에 어떻게 연관되는 지를 지속적으로 연구하여야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of college students' career barriers on career stress and focusing on the mediating effect of job searching efficacy. To achieve this goal perceived career barriers, career stress and job searching efficacy of college students were analyzed. The following summarized the results of the analysis on the research. First, career barriers were significantly related to job searching efficacy. Second, career barriers were significantly related to career stress. Third, job searching efficacy was significantly related to career stress. Forth, job searching efficacy mediated the links between career barriers and career stress. Also mediating effect of job searching efficacy was different by career barriers. The possible reasons for the findings were discussed in the light of existing studies and situations. Also implications, limitations and directions of study were suggested.
