진로장애가 진로결정자기효능감에 미치는 영향 -적극적 스트레스 대처를 매개변인으로-
The Effect of Career Barriers on Career Decision Making Self-efficacy Mediated by Active Stress-Coping

본 연구는 진로장애와 진로결정자기효능감 간의 관계를 이해하고 상담의 실제에 효과적인 개입 방안을 찾고자 두 변인의 관계를 설명해 줄 수 있는 매개 변인을 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 진로장애가 진로결정자기효능감에 미치는 영향에 적극적 스트레스 대처의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 대학생 199명을 대상으로 진로장애, 진로결정자기효능감, 적극적 스트레스 대처로 구성된 설문지를 실시하고 회귀분석을 사용하여 매개효과 검증을 하였다. 그 결과, 진로장애가 진로결정자기효능감에 미치는 영향에 대해 적극적 스트레스 대처의 부분매개 효과가 확인되었다. 구체적으로, 내적장애의 경우 동일한 결과가 도출되었으나, 외적장애의 경우 적극적 스트레스 대처의 부분매개 효과가 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 통해 진로장애가 진로결정자기효능감에 미치는 영향이 적극적 스트레스 대처에 의해 설명될 수 있음을 확인하였고, 진로장애의 종류에 따라 상담에서의 접근 방법이 구분되어야 함을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점에 대해 논의하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to test mediator effect of active stress-coping between career barriers and career decision making self-efficacy. 199 undergraduates completed a survey packet containing measurement of career barriers, career decision making self-efficacy, and active stress-coping. The results from hierarchical multiple regression indicated that active stress-coping partially mediated the link of career barriers and career decision making self-efficacy. However, effect of external barriers on career decision making self-efficacy was not mediated by active stress-coping. Based on these findings, intervention strategies in career counseling for college students considering the kind of career barriers was discussed. The limitations and implications of this study were also discussed.
