이 연구의 목적은 고전과 인문학 텍스트를 활용한 인성교육 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 연구의 이론적 기초로서 인성교육과 관련된 교육학계의 논의를 참고하면서, 한국의 전통교육과 인성교육, 고전과 인문학 텍스트를 활용한 인성교육의 가능성을 탐색하였다. 이론적 토대를 바탕으로 대학 교양교육에서 인성교육 제재로서 고전과 인문학 텍스트를 활용한 교수･학습과정안을 설계･개발･예시하였다. 이 연구의 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고전과 인문학 텍스트를 활용한 인성교육의 필요성과 방법을 이론적으로 고찰한 후 교양 수업에서의 적용 가능성을 확인하였다. 둘째, 대학생의 인성역량 강화를 위한 교양 인문학 수업에서 고전과 인문학 텍스트를 활용한 교수･학습과정안을 제시하였다. 결론적으로 고전과 인문학 텍스트를 활용한 인성 인문학 수업은 참여자의 인성역량 강화에 긍정적인 효과가 나타난 것으로 판단된다. 후속 연구로는 고전과 인문학 텍스트를 활용한 인성교육 프로그램의 확산을 위해, 학교급별･지역별 다양한 문제 상황에 초점을 맞춘 참여형 인성교육 프로그램의 개발과 운영의 필요성을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is based on presenting a personality education plan using texts from classics and humanities texts. Referring to the discussion of educational academia related to personality education as the theoretical basis of the study, the possibility of personality education using traditional Korean education and personality education, and texts from classics and humanities was explored. On the basis of the theoretical basis, a teaching/learning plan using classics and humanities texts was designed and illustrated as a sanction for personality education in university liberal arts education. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, after theoretically examining the necessity and method of personality education using classics and humanities texts, the applicability in liberal arts classes was confirmed. Second, in the liberal arts humanities class to strengthen the personality competencies of college students, the teaching/learning plan using classics and humanities texts was exemplified. Conclusively, it is judged that the personality education class using classics and humanities texts has a positive effect on strengthening the participants' personality competencies. As a follow-up study, to spread personality education programs using classics and humanities texts, the necessity of developing and operating participatory personality education programs focusing on various problem situations by school level and region was proposed.
