Abstract
The genus Diaporthe is one of the important fungal pathogens in the world. 5 isolates were obtained from blueberry leaves in Chuncheon and Gosung during a survey on blueberry disease. From the results identification using morphology and molecular characteristics, they were identified as Diaporthe amygdali, D. eres, D. nobilis, D. phaseolorum and Diaporthe sp. Diaporthe amygdali, D. nobilis and D. phaseolorum developed lesion of 5~10mm in diameter when inoculated onto leaves with wounds. And D. eres and Diaporthe sp. developed over than 10mm and less than 5mm lesion, repectively. But didn’t develop onto leaves without wounds and fruit with/without wounds. Fungal growth at various temperatures showed that D. eres, D. nobilis, D. phaseolorum, and Diaporthe sp. had the highest growth rates at 25℃, while D. amygdali grew better at 30℃. All strains showed 80% or higher inhibited growth in all concentrations of oxine-copper, benomyl, fluzinam, and prochloraz manganese complex. They also showed 80% or higher inhibited growth in 250 and 500 ppm of captan, 250 and 500 ppm of mancozeb, and 500ppm of dithianon.
