본 연구는 빠르게 변화하는 산림치유 관련 정책 및 환경에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있도록 기존의 산림치유 프로그램을 개선하기 위해 수행되었다. 본 연구에서는 유아, 청소년 및 중·장년층을 대상으로 시행되고 있는 산림치유 프로그램에 대한 현장전문가들의 의견조사를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 델파이 기법(Delphi technique)을 활용하여 총 3단계에 걸쳐 산림치유지도사 15명, 숲해설가 5명, 산림치유시설 운영요원 2명의 3 개 그룹을 대상으로 조사를 수행하였다. 본 연구에 나타난 현장전문가들의 의견을 살펴보면, 대상별(유아, 청소년 및 중·장년층)로 공통적으로 중요하다고 여기는 항목(의사소통기술, 대상자의 이해, 응급상황 대처법, 숲에관한 지식, 현장체험 실습경험 등)과 특정대상(중·장년)에게 적용되는 특정항목(휴식과 운동·건강 등)이 나타난다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 행정·연구 인력이 아닌 산림치유 현장에서 근무하면서 직접 산림치유의수요자들을 상대하는 현장전문가들의 의견을 조사했다는 데에 의의가 있다. 이와 같은 연구를 통해 산림치유 현장전문가들의 의견들을 수렴함으로써 앞으로의 산림치유 프로그램에 대한 발전방향을 예상하고 관련정책이나프로그램의 개발방향을 결정하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.
Abstract
This study aims to enable an existing forest healing program to actively respond to policy shihts and the rapidly changing environment. In this study, we conducted an expert opinion survey on forest healing programs aimed at infants, youths, and the (late)middle-aged. Delphi technique was used for this survey. We conducted a three-phase survey targeting three groups that consisted of 15 forest healing instructors, five fores interpreters, and two operating personnel from the forest healing facilities. The results revealed that the experts considered several components important(communication skills, understanding of the target group, skills for coping with emergency situations, knowledge of the forest, and experience with on-site practice) for all targeted groups(infants, youth, and the (late)middle-aged). Additionally, the results revealed that specific contents(relaxation, exercise, and health benefits) applied particularly to the (late)middle-aged. This study is significant because it elicited opinions of onsite experts who work directly with those experiencing forest healing, rather than those working as administrators or researchers. Thus, we assume the findings to be helpful for predicting the future direction of improvements in forest healing programs and for determining directions for the development of related policies or programs.
