초록

「Meng Ke」, Ding Ling's maiden work, provides us with a very important clue to understand the world of her works. This article analyzes 「Meng Ke」's narrative structure as a fundamental work for it. First of all, this article searches the cultural discourse of 1920s'(Argument about a Human Model and Nora Boom), and author's personal experience(friendship with Wang Jian Hong(王劍虹), relationship with anarchists and dream of an actress). Based on the understanding of these, this article analyzes the literary space appearing in the narrative structure of 「Meng Ke」. 「Meng Ke」's literary space is divided into two, that is the country space and the city space. In 「Meng Ke」, native place and ‘Yun Zhen(勻珍)'s house belong to the country space. On the other hand, college, aunt's house and the movie world belong to the city space. Each literary space has its own cultural meaning, that is to say native place is the space that has a lot of community spirits, where disrupts the order of ranks; ‘Yun Zhen’s house is the space that relieves the deficiency of city life; college is the space that external modernity and internal pre-modernity coexists; aunt's house is the space of western city life and consumption cilture; the movie world is the space that women are consumed as an objects of sexual fantasy. This article also analyzes gazing as a literary equipment. There are two types of occupation in 「Meng Ke」, that is human model and actress. All of these two are not beings who speak with mouth, but are beings who speak with body and are gazed by others. This relation between ‘gaze’ and ‘be gazed’ is applied to the relation between Meng Ke and the others. Meng Ke originally refuse to the phallicentric gazing that treats women as an object of satisfying male's sexual desire, but finally choose to be an object of gazing and is degraded to consumptive goods. In this sense, 「Meng Ke」 is the narrative that reveals the phallicentrism about women's body, and is the narrative where woman herself show us the change their own perception to their body at the same time.
