The "Ding Ling Phenomenon" appeared in the Fiction Monthly in the late 1920s was a "phenomenal" event. The appearance of "Ding Ling phenomenon" must have its particularity. It is not just ordinary readers who create their "phenomenal level". It seems that we can also make a further careful screening of publishing institutions and authoritative readers. This thesis reexamines the writer Ding Ling from the sociological research perspective of the shaping of groups and individuals by the media of public opinion, and examines the shaping of the image of young writer Ding Ling by the public opinion space from the mutual growth between the Novel Monthly and the writer Ding Ling, as well as its influence on the later life choices and creation paths, to care about why modern writers are placed on the historical stage with such a public image in the literary field.
Abstract
