무도윤리학의 형성 근거에 대한 고찰

Abstract

This study is on the theoretical foundation in building of the ethics of martial arts. If one of ultimate purposes in the martial arts is on completion of character, its ethical approaches and explanations are different from them of Western sport So, this paper is introductory study about how to be explained the ethical approach in martial arts. The results of this study are as follow. The ethics of martial arts is to overcome the deontological and ontological approach. Whenever we have to only practice the martial arts, we directly do not get in completion of the character. Practical behavior learned from martial arts promptly and immediately should apply on life-world. This behaviors have to come out in its Mom(bodymind) unconsciously and naturally in the state of embodiment. The completion of character through martial arts do not reduce to the normative explanation. The meaning of subjective body in practicing the martial arts is different from the viewpoint of Cartesian dualism. That needs the ethical understanding of proper body. Ethics of martial arts needs to explain the spontaneous movement of Mom, as the immediate coping, in the real world. When ethical behaviors emerge from Mom unconsciously, it may be better ethical attitude. Considering ethical attitudes and behaviors engendered from state of embodiment, we need the understanding of cognitive science and phenomenology related Mom. These viewpoints should be suggested as the type of theoretical system and simulation later. But, all of spontaneous, of course, behaviors do not guarantee ethical validity, so we need to suggest the logical foundation to support the justification of spontaneous movement. One of this answers is that process of reflection should carry in the practitioners’behavior itself. In conclusion, the formative foundation of martial arts needs to be built the theoretical system including both of spontaneous behavior and their reflective aspect originated from Mom. Both of relations should be circulated each other. There are many future’s research assignments to set the ethics of martial arts to us.
