Abstract

The experience through physical environment of service marketing is very important because it may communicate with customers about service information and quality. This research focuses on the effects of the experience through physical environment of the multiplex cinemas on customer satisfaction and their revisit intentions. As recent studies show the growing importance of customers’ emotional responses on their repurchasing intentions, this study also examines the relationship among emotional responses and between emotional responses and customer satisfaction, and revisit intentions. The results of empirical analysis were as follows: First, arousal had positively related to pleasure and dominance. Second, pleasure and dominance had effect on customer satisfaction, Clearly marketer need to understand positive emotional reaction leads to customer satisfaction and increased revisit intentions. Finally, customer satisfaction is not significantly affected revisit intentions. A key implication of this is that multiplex cinema marketers should provide well-planned facilities and create better atmosphere to lead consumers’ positive emotional reactions and make them revisit.
