Abstract
This study attempts to test whether participation in decision-making, open discussion, satisfaction with group, trust in group, role ambiguity, formalization, distorted communication are correlated with job involvement, whether these variables influence on job involvement, and whether demographic and socio-economic variables make differences in job involvement. The followings are results which are significant statistically. First, formalization is correlated with job involvement. Second, decision-making and satisfaction with group influence on job involvement. Third, role ambiguity influences on job involvement negatively. Fourthly, male is higher than female in job involvement. Fifthly, fifties group is higher than other age group in job involvement. Sixthly, graduate education group is higher than other education groups in job involvement. Seventhly, the longer the tenure, the higher the job involvement. Finally, the higher the position, the higher job involvement. Theses results of research imply that if we want to increase job involvement in organization, we need to increase participation in formalization, decision-making, and satisfaction with group.
