연구 목적: 본 연구는 2005-2006년과 2019년에 발행된 4-6학년용 홍콩 역사 교과서 6종을 분석해 ‘중국 특색의 사회주의 시장경제’를 연구하는 데 있다. 연구 방법: ‘사회주의 시장경제’, ‘정부’, ‘시장’, ‘시장실패･정부실패’를 분석항목으로 삼아 내용분석 하였다. 연구 내용: 2005-2006년 홍콩 교과서에 서술된 중국 특색의 사회주의 시장경제의 초점이 시장화와 분권화에 있다면, 2019년 교과서에서는 중국공산당의 영도와 중국식 현대화를 강조하고 있다. 결론 및 제언: 2005-2006년 교과서에서 중국 특색의 사회주의 시장경제는 사회주의와 중국 특색이 결합한 경제체제 개혁과 대외 개방으로 시장의 역할에 중점이 있다. 그러나 2019년 교과서에서 중국의 경제체제 개혁은 ‘중국식 현대화’ 과정이며, 정부와 시장의 역할이 전환된 경제체제이다. 중국의 발전전략 변화에 맞는 능동적인 대처가 필요하다.
Abstract
The study aims to analyze the ‘socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics’ by analyzing six history textbooks for Hong Kong’s 4th and 6th grades published between 2005-2006 and 2019. Content analysis was conducted using “socialist market economy”, “government’, ‘market”, and “market failure and government failure” as analysis items. While the 2005 textbooks emphasize marketization and decentralization within the context of the socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics, the 2019 textbook emphasizes the leadership of the Communist Party of China and ‘Chinese modernization’. The 2005-2006 Hong Kong textbook describes the socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics as a combination of socialism and Chinese characteristics aimed at economic system reform and external opening. However, the 2019 textbook frames China’s economic system reform as part of the broader process of “Chinese modernization”, which involves a transformation of the roles of the government and the market. Active response to changes in China’s development strategy is needed.
