《太平廣記》 中華書局本에서 나타나는 어휘문제 고찰 — 通行本과 여러 板本 間의 異文을 중심으로

본고는 연구자들이 《太平廣記》 中華書局本에 수록된 어휘들을 연구대상으로 활용하기에 앞서 먼저 해당 어휘에 대한 각 판본 간의 이문을 확인하는 인식을 갖도록 하는 데 목적을 둔다. 그동안 중화서국본은 通行本으로서 국내외에서 唐宋 이전의 어휘를 연구하는 데 중요한 자료로 활용되었다. 그러나 중화서국본의 底本인 談愷刻本이 제작될 당시 이미 많은 闕文과 誤字가 존재하였고, 다른 여러 판본과의 비교 대조를 통해 중화서국본의 문제가 제기되어 왔다. 그럼에도 불구하고 현재까지도 중화서국본에 수록된 어휘들을 《태평광기》 원본의 것으로 간주하여 연구하는 경우가 적지 않다. 이러한 상황에서 본고는 중화서국본과 여러 판본 간의 이문을 통해 중화서국본의 일부 어휘를 고찰하여 誤字를 지적하였고, 역사적 사실을 고증하여 正字를 확인하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to enable researchers to first have the awareness to check the variant text of each edition of the vocabulary contained in the 《TaiPingGuangJi》 published by the Zhonghua Book Company before using it as a research object. So far, the Zhonghua Book Company edition has been used as an important resource for researching vocabulary from before the Tang and Song dynasties both domestically and internationally. However, issues have been raised regarding the Zhonghua Book Company edition, as missing text and typographical errors have been found not only in its underlying Tan Kai engraved edition but also in several other editions. Nevertheless, even to this day, there are many cases in which all vocabulary contained in the Zhonghua Book Company edition as originating from the original Song Dynasty version of the 《TaiPingGuangJi》. Due to the potential for generating incorrect results if these issues are not addressed, this paper examined certain vocabulary from the Zhonghua Book Company edition through the variant text between it and various other editions, and confirmed the correct characters by researching historical facts.
