장애학생 학교폭력에 대한 인식비교 및 경험 분석 : P지역 재활 및 사회복지학과 재학생을 중심으로

본 연구는 200명의 장애 및 비장애학생들을 대상으로 장애학생 학교폭력에 대한 인식 차이를 비교해 보고, 장애학생들을 대상으로 행해지는 학교폭력의 유형과 경험에 대하여 분석함으로서 보다 현실적인 학교폭력 대처방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 장애유무에 따른 장애학생 학교폭력에 대한 인식도에서 장애학생은 비장애학생 보다 장애학생 학교폭력이 매우 심각하다고 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 장애학생 학교폭력 실태에 대하여 장애학생의 66.1%(39명)가 학교폭력 피해를 당하거나 목격한 적이 있었고, 주요 형태는 괴롭힘이나 위협․욕설, 폭행, 따돌림, 성폭력 등으로 나타났다. 끝으로, 학교폭력 방지를 위하여 시급히 해결해야 할 과제로 가해자에 대한 엄격한 처리(49.5%)와 상담실 활성화(20.5%), 유해 환경에 대한 정화(19%)가 필요한 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the perceptions, types, and experiences of school violence in a sample of 200 disabled and non-disabled college students. Next, the students were to suggest effective strategies to improve school violence. First, there were significant differences in students’ perception in terms of seriousness of school violence between student groups with and without disability. Second, 66.1% of students with disabilities reported that they experienced or witnessed school violence. The types of school violence identified were: distressing, intimidating, bullying, and verbal, physical and sexual harassment. In addition, 48.5% respondents reported that strict punishment should be done to offenders, while active operation of school counseling was preferred by only 20.5% of students, and 19% answered on the improvement of harmful environment.
