본 연구는 포스트모더니즘에 대한 개념과 일반적 특징을 살펴보고, 이를 근거로 사이코드라마에서 포스트모더니즘 현상이 어떻게 나타나는지 고찰해 봄으로써 사이코드라마에 대한 새로운 인식과 실시방법에 대한 시사점을 주고자 하였다. 논의한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사이코드라마에서는 주인공 중심의 지금-여기라고 하는 시․공간의 해체가 이루어지는 현상. 둘째, 주인공의 내면속에 잠재해 있는 자발성과 창조성이 실현되도록 하여 인간 확장을 지향 하는 것과 주인공 자신의 경험세계를 재창조하고 재해석할 수 있도록 하는 것. 셋째, 주인공과 디렉터, 관객의 상호작용에 의한 융통성 있는 사이코드라마 진행과정. 넷째, 주인공에 대한 능동적인 존재로서의 존중. 다섯째, 주인공의 다양한 주제와 감정에 대한 다양성과 차이성을 인정하는 것이다. 그리고 이러한 내용을 토대로 사이코드라마 진행시 적용할 수 있는 시사점을 결론 부분에 몇 가지 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to observe the concept and general characteristics of postmodernism, and present new perceptions and practical methods of psychodrama by examining how postmodernism is depicted in the genre of psychodrama. The consequently observed characteristics include: first, in psychodrama, time and space - the ‘now’ and ‘here’ of the protagonist - are disintegrated; second, the goal is to enable the protagonist to recreate and re-interpret the world he/she experiences and pursue the expansion of mankind by realizing the protagonist’s potential spontaneity and creativity; thirdly, the plot development of psychodrama is more flexible, based on the interrelationship among the protagonist, director and the group; fourthly, the main character is respected as an active entity; fifthly, the diversity in the themes and the emotions of the main characters are acknowledged. In the conclusion part, certain propositions were made for possible application to psychodrama based on the above observations.
