황인찬의 시적 변모와 새로운 무의미시의 탄생 - 1950년대 모더니즘 시인들과의 영향관계를 중심으로

Abstract

This is an attempt to examine Hwang In-chan's methodology of nonsense poetry compared to the one of modernist poets in the 1950s, paying attention to his nonsense poetry shown in Repetition for Love. This presupposes that the poetry of modernist poets in the 1950s had a great influence on the formation of Hwang In-chan's linguistic consciousness and view of poetry, and that his poetic world began to have a new methodology that was distinguished from them in the process of competing with their poetry. To this end, this traced the process by which he came to have a new methodology of nonsense poetry by looking into the state of affairs overlapped with the modernist poets in the 1950s represented by Kim Chun-soo, Kim Jong-sam, Kim Soo-young, and Jeon Bong-geon, while taking a diachronic view of his poetic world. In a regard that Hwang In-chan's aesthetic and ethical strategy, faced with the impossibility of language, was formed while newly taking the poetry writing method of modernist poets in the 1950s to himself, his poetry proves that the history of Korean modern poetry should be viewed from a continuous perspective.
