중국 경제성장 거점 이동과 지역시장 구조 특징의 연관성 연구

이 연구는 2011년도 통계자료에 근거하여 중국 각 지역의 6개 성 지역시장의 구조적 특징을 7개 영역 각각 3개의 측정 지표를 통해 평가했다. 이 연구는 중국 지역시장 구조의 특성 파악을 위한 가치중립적 분석틀 제시와 함께, 최근 중국경제 관련 분석의 중요한 화두가 되고 있는 경제성장 거점 이동 문제와 관련된 함의를 도출했다. 분석결과에 따르면, 최근에 관측되는 중서부지역으로의 중국경제 성장 거점의 이동은 중국 정부의 상명하달식 노동 및 소비정책 실행에 더해 투자주도형 고성장 기제의 유지를 위한 투자대상 지역 선택으로서 중서부 지역을 선택한 결과이며, 결코 중서부 지역시장의 구조의 시장 친화적 변화에 따른 것이 아니다. 이 연구의 분석을 통해 최근 관측되고 있는 중국 중서부 지역의 경제성장 붐은 주로 중국 정부의 임기정책(臨機政策; ad hoc policies)에 의해 나타난 현상이라는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.
Abstract
The article tried to provide an analytical frame for understanding some important features of China's market structure at provincial level. Main finding is that the sources of recent movement of China's economic growth pole to the western region were highly dependent on the Chinese governments' - central and local - ad hoc economic strategy and policies rather than fundamental transformation of regional market structure.
