China's Peripheral Strategies--Focus on the One Belt One Road Initiative

China's peripheral policy is showing a pre-emptive and aggressive aspects in order to realize ‘Chinese dream’ which is Xi jinping's political ideology. China's OBOR Initiative is being implemented in a comprehensive, long-term project in order to realize Chinese dream. To exert its past central capability externally, it attempts to reinvestigate its intrinsic conventional peripheral concept from the perspective of national strategy. This study aims to analyze Xi jinping's geopolitical overseas strategy and diplomacy with surrounding countries, focusing on OBOR, under a new situation called the revival of conventional overseas strategy based on China's Sinocentrism. Research conducted on OBOR in Korea is progressing rapidly recently. That is, China will look at the international stage from its own perspective based on the national comprehensive power and on confidence unique to China.
